WOW, today we are releasing possibly two of our biggest records ever. And they are related in the weirdest Louisville way. As millions of people around the world mourn the death and celebrate the life of Louisville's #1 native son (and we have a few), people are flooding into town to honor the Greatest. Louisville Orchestra Music Director TEDDY ABRAMS composed a tribute to the Champ for keyboard at the behest of Gill, after a chance meeting at the CD release show/live preview for CANYONS, the new full length by our boys THE PASS. Teddy invited JIM JAMES of MY MORNING JACKET over to Kevin Ratterman's La La Land and they came up with "Float Rumble Rest," which we have rushed to release on the day of Ali's sure-to-be epic memorial service. All proceeds from this record will benefit The Muhammad Ali center! An unforgettable day in Louisville cultural history for sure!
